Perfect start to a client meeting. A dozen gorgeous doughnuts, right? Look again. In the lower right corner. The downright homely one. “Ordinary,” one might sneer. Bereft of all the sparkly, blingy adornments of its neighbors. The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of doughnuts. The stripped-down cheapo model in the luxury car lot.
That’s the one the other doughnuts laugh at and call him names. You know, when they’re playing their doughnut games.
Well, my friends, look again. Where you might see plain, I see confidence. I see a doughnut that isn’t afraid of transparency. It is wielding power in its nakedness, in its raw and singular Purpose. Sitting there, back against two walls, proudly, defiantly, nay, authentically. You can almost hear it declaring, “Eat me.”
Purpose is delicious. #lowandbhold
